mPower Social Enterprises Ltd.

mPower Social Enterprises Ltd.

mPower is a social enterprise founded by graduate students of Harvard University and MIT in 2008. With the aim to change the paradigm of social good with the power of great design, information and technology, we began our journey in Egypt, and soon spread to other countries in Africa, before our center of gravity shifted to Bangladesh in 2010. Till date, we have worked with over 60 leading non-profits, government organizations and donors across 10 countries of Asia, Africa, and Central America.

Offering solutions to deep-rooted development challenges in a wide range of areas, we put “D” of development back at the center and use mainstream technology as an integrated component to shift mindsets around bringing tech innovations into processes, an approach that we call “Smart Development”.
