About JEM Engineering
JEM Engineering is a custom antenna design and manufacturing company, with extensive experience in broadband omnidirectional and directional antennas which must operate in extreme environments. We have R&D and production facilities, as well as two state-of-the-art antenna testing chambers. Our Satimo Stargate 64 chamber is a high-speed electronically-scanned 400-6000 MHz antenna test chamber. With its ring of 64 sensors surrounding the antenna under test, it is able to generate complete 4π steradian, 3-dimensional antenna patterns, in under ten minutes. This allows JEM Engineering to test antenna features and iterate antenna designs very rapidly. JEM specializes in antennas for advanced electronic systems, with a focus on rapid development of antenna products from prototypes through full production. JEM is a woman-owned, minority-owned, small disadvantaged business.
As an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, JEM has established processes and controls to provide best practices in areas of: delivering a set of refined drawings; managing the quality of the entire manufacturing process, including third party dependencies; and applying organic expertise for final assembly, tuning, and test.
JEM Engineering has specialized in the development and manufacturing of custom antennas for over a decade. In that time, we have developed over 100 antenna designs from the concept stage through final electrical and manufacturing design, and have manufactured over 60,000 individual antennas. Using 3D CAD, analytic tools, and extensive manufacturing knowledge, JEM’s mechanical engineers work closely with our antenna engineers to create robust designs. Every design is subjected to a qualification process to ensure that stringent electrical and environmental requirements are met. Our ISO 9001:2008 quality system ensures product quality, repeatability, and customer satisfaction through a multi-step process that includes requirements definition (in concert with the customer), performance validation and verification, and configuration management.
