The Level Market uses ecommerce to serve humanity, accelerate progress towards SDGs, & encourage innovation in humanitarian engineering. We do this specifically through our online marketplace & through Level Giving, our crowdfunding platform.https://www.thelevelmarket.com/

During the 18 months we ran TLM, people repeatedly asked if supplies could be purchased on behalf of a nonprofit. LG is the evolution of our mission to get relief supplies to people in need in a fast and transparent way using our existing tech
A lot of donors are concerned about simply giving money: How was their money used? When was it used? Did it actually help people? They feel uncomfortable asking these questions. With Level Giving, donors buy physical supplies that impact SDG outcomes that an organization has determined it needs like mosquito nets or blankets. The purchase is tracked and SDG impact is reported, giving donors peace of mind and confidence their money is being put to good use.
Ecommerce has benefited nearly every industry except ours. Our patent-pending quote technology, coupled with ecommerce principles can change that. In addition to offering an online marketplace where NGOs can find, source, compare, track, and purchase relief supplies we also offer this same technology applied to donations. Through the innovative use of tech, donors moved to support development initiatives can have confidence that their money is being used effectively and transparently.
We were outraged by the institutional failings of the response to Puerto Rico and Hurricane Harvey. We had an existing solution that could be easily adapted to meet demands to donate relief supplies. We were in a position to stem suffering and save lives and could no longer stand by. Because our team has spent 30+ years in fundraising, aid and disaster relief in exec roles, we are uniquely qualified to launch and successfully scale this product-based crowd funding platform. We can also adapt our existing tech without having to rebuild it. Combining our prior knowledge of running an online humanitarian marketplace with a donation-based model, gives us unique insight and first-mover advantage. We also have strategic partnerships with 2 logistics companies, Flexport and iContainers, to provide greatly discounted shipping rates, as we know this is a huge bottleneck in procurement of relief supplies.
