The Action Foundation (TAF) is a community driven organization registered in Kenya that provides holistic development opportunities to children and young people with disabilities in low income areas.

Children with disabilities are among the country’s most vulnerable group due to stigma, discrimination, poor parent-child interactions, institutionalization and lack of support. They are often perceived as less valuable than other children and are more likely to experience violence in their lifetime.

Guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), TAF specifically works with and alongside children in early years, girls with disability and caregivers of children with disability in urban and rural informal settlements.
