Problem

The far-reaching impact and significance of local communities as drivers and beneficiaries of cultural heritage tourism is undervalued and misunderstood to a very large extent especially in the African context, will larger and often exotic companies benefiting from the tourism revenues streams and supply chains. Without aggressive marketing and branding, community based cultural heritage experiences are often bypassed.
