At TechFarm Institute we believe that Africa has all it takes to effectively feed it’s people so we’ve taken technology and combined it with crop production processes to combat Africa’s crop production problems. We aren’t just thinking business, we are also thinking about the people in our communities who need access to better sources of nutritious food. Our vechicle for effecting this change are the young people that live within this communities.
The solar Food Farm is designed to produce fresh healthy Food throughout the year no matter the climatic condition of the area. Another unique feature is that it can grow in any location either in the desert, land slide areas, oil polluted land and many more. this is basically due to the fact that no soil is involved in the crop growth. The Solar Food Farm being a controlled environment breaks the barrier of not being able to grow certain crops in some region because of soil condition.
