HAK assists survivors virtually to access GBV services on referral basis with an aim of preventing infections such as HIV/AIDS. The HAK innovation provides a platform for survivors to benefit from telephonic services such as Tele-Counseling, coordination and facilitation of rescues and referrals . HAK runs a national GBV Rapid Response Call Centre that is manned 24 hours by a team of tele-counselors. During Covid-19 crisis, HAK adapted the promotion of prevention of the spread of the virus, supported GBV survivors and monitor GBV trends in the country during the pandemic.
