Problem

fragmentation amongst community groups; the lack of cohesion between local community partners and other actors including business and local government; the disconnect between real need and often perceived problems; the sustainability of projects after funding comes to an end; as well as a real way to better visualize and map the results.

Solution

providing a virtual space for citizens to voice issues around existing and potential problems, to propose own projects of solutions “chained” with the fixed issues, and to link up with civil society organizations and local authorities with similar concerns.

Target Beneficiaries

local communities

Mission and Vision

11 SDG (sustainable cities and communities) -strengthening the power of peoples cooperation in the digital era by transforming local communities into co-working spaces with a help of ICT.

Innovation Description

Competitive Advantage

It aims at solving the issue in the most appropriate way, where municipality services (incl e-Governance) are some of available options. This approach allows to develop different areas in the community: e-Governance, social entrepreneurship, regular business, volunteering, and to reduce the burden on municipality services.

Alive Space for Interaction: instead of static markers on the map (like Google Map etc) for visualization, it uses special “beacons” with a number of interactive options, which allow to create alive space for cooperation in community (to fix burning issues, to address them, to mobilize resources for proposed solutions etc).

Mobilization of resources is based on usual tools for crowdfunding as well as original mechanism for co-financing, which helps to reach new level of cooperation and interoperability.

New possibilities for effective networking.

Planned Goals and Milestones

1) IT: Transformation of working IT-prototype into stable platform + AR app; 2) Transition to scale: spreading knowledge and skills among local communities with a help of original e-learning and offline activities; involving new partners in and outside Ukraine
