Mission and Vision

Sehat Kahani envisions to expand its operations, empowering more than 5000 female doctors and field health providers by catering to more than 1.8 million beneficiaries by 2021, earning a gross profit of $1084,446.

Innovation Description

Sehat Kahani is a unique telehealth platform that provides underserved patients with access to quality healthcare by connecting them to out of workforce female doctors.Patients can visit a Sehat Kahani E-Health centre: where a trained and trusted health worker connects them to qualified: home based female physicians and specialists using video consultation and electronic medical records systems. This enables female doctors who are kept at home because of social and cultural barriers to reintegrate into the workforce and contribute to improved health services. The Sehat Kahani platform also offers low and middle income patients the ability to schedule consultations: set-up mental health plans or research insurance options from their phone or tablet.

Competitive Advantage

Currently, many competing Telehealth companies are trying to create similar solutions in Pakistan. Our advantage is that our team is lead by two female doctors who have only been through the agony of not being able to practice but also know what it takes to come back to the workforce and how the pool of knowledge this country has that being wasted by not being able to reach where it should. We also have the first movers advantage of being in the field for more than 3 years, piloting and iterating revenue streams, treating actual paying customers. We are the data aggregators striving to streamline true health data that has been underreported or misreported in Pakistan. We have made revenue of over net, created key collaborations and partnerships across all service lines and won national and international recognition for our work showing that we are in it for the long haul.
