The People for Peace and Defense of Rights (PPDR) Child Care Program project provides free primary education to empower refugee children and other vulnerable children in Kampala. They focus on building knowledge and skills children have missed out on learning to best prepare them for the Ugandan school system.
How does your innovation work?
The Education and Training Department at PPDR will collaborate with the Ministry of Education and Sport to ensure that the education offered to these students is accurate and conforms to the Uganda Education System standards. The Ministry of Education will evaluate students through an exam. The exam will determine the class setting for the child according to Uganda's education system.
