The facilitators are selected through an online application, audition and training that takes less than 10 hours for a team of 30. These facilitators deliver courses in the form of challenges and activities through our web application that helps students seek knowledge faster and in multitudes. Once after the course, students document their innovative projects onto a portfolio portal which helps them gain mentorship and opportunities for the future.

Problem

The Indian Education System follows an 18th-century mass learning practice created for the industrial revolution. Students dread attending lectures and appearing for examinations as there isn’t much interactivity proposed. Teachers in higher education are stagnated from preaching the same knowledge, in the same methods over decades while never experiencing its utilisation or even application in the market.

Solution

In support of increasing Entrepreneurship, we have designed a new learning methodology based on design thinking. This heutagogy is supported by our proprietary course Extended Design Thinking. With the help EDT for developing entrepreneurial skills for students, a large workforce of teachers will be trained to be using a design-based pedagogy. Post-training the same workforce will be conducting various other programs using a teacher's tool made by Nodes.

Target Beneficiaries

We aim to serving all students in higher education from developing countries, especially belonging to underdeveloped parts through state-run and private Universities, as well as large group of Institutions and Organisations

Mission and Vision

We see a change in the mindsets of individuals that strive for development through innovation. Each batch conducted and delivered by Nodes has at least two in-campus community-driven solutions being implemented and at least one off-campus society-driven problems being addressed by none other than the thoughtful youth of this country. This shows us an ecosystem in which the next generation strives for development through business models emerging out of addressing ground-level problems.

Competitive Advantage

There are certain organisations working towards curriculum development through addition and training of teachers in India like Callido and Guru-G. Although they perform at a primary school and pre-school level. We are the only ones delivering innovation courses on-syllabus to graduate students through innovation facilitators.

Teacher's Tool. A tool for teachers and facilitators to generate leads, create content, explore alternative methods of delivery, customise and deliver lessons, assess with as much enjoyment and then start creating their own innovations in respective areas of expertise.

The Team Behind the Innovation

We are a bunch of professional system designers and educational industry mentors, having experience working on more or less 15 corporate and social design problems in the past 8 years. We work using design thinking or human-centred innovation practices. This enables us to look at a system, such as the Education System of India subjectively and exclusively.
