PATH and MSR have co-developed a continuous flow chlorine generator for health facilities in low income countries. The device uses salt, water, and electricity to cost effectively produce chlorine for infection prevention and control.

Stage 3: Proof of Concept

This product is in low rate production with larger field trials scheduled for Summer of 2018. Prototypes, market evaluation, and previous commercial success of MSR's chlorine generation technology have proven a need and fitness for purpose.
