There are over 1 billion people with disabilities on the planet. They are the biggest minority in the world. Millions of them can't communicate verbally or have learning impairments. In many ways, unhappily they are considered as "burdens" since they can't have access to proper education.
Livox is an alternative communication software that enables non-verbal people with disabilities to communicate and to learn. What makes Livox unique is three things:

We work with non-verbal people with disabilities and people with learning impairments. This includes people with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down Syndrom, ALS, Stroke and many other diseases. There's a clear trend in the world towards a more inclusive society. We are proud of working to include people with disabilities, one of the groups with the highest risk of social exclusion.

The creator of Livox, Carlos Pereira, is a father of an 11-year-old girl that has Cerebral Palsy due to a medical mistake. Livox was first tested with his daughter. He was also an owner of a rehab center for 6 years and Livox was tested in this rehab center with a wide range of disabilities.
Livox is different for every disabled person since disabilities vary in type and degree. We have different interfaces depending on the user's disability. People who can read, people who can't read, people who can see, people who can't see, people that don't understand abstract concepts, all of them can use Livox.
What is unique in Livox design?
Regular alternative communication devices show dozens of items on a single screen. This makes this kind of products something very complicated for people with motor or cognitive issues.

When creating a new user, Livox asks questions about the user disability and it's able to adjust to any particular disability since they vary in type and degree. In this way, Livox is different for every disabled user.
We have algorithms for motor, cognitive and visual impairments. So regardless of the user disability, they can use Livox, whether with their eyes or by touching their whole hand in a screen of a tablet, Livox can understand any input made by users with disabilities and for those non-verbal users, it speaks for them.
Livox can be programmed by teachers to teach any concept like Math, languages, abstract concepts, etc.
Planned Goals and Milestones
We have a huge database of disabled users and we are using these anonymized data to predict potential bad behaviors or bad situations before they happen. For example, supposed a user that has to stay in a bed the whole day, our next innovation in Livox will predict the need to change this person position in bed in order to prevent pressure scars.
We are working also to predict when a non-verbal person with a disability may be hungry, thirsty, etc so they can better communicate these needs.
