The problem Kalibrr solves is one of unemployment and underemployment as a result of inefficient and outdated tools (job boards). Kalibrr is also solving the problem of employability by helping jobseekers uncover the skills and competencies they need to get the jobs they want.
Kalibrr has built a platform (kalibrr.com) that allows jobseekers to discover job functions and industries, build profiles and take assessments that then power job recommendations to them. Their behaviors on these recommendations - what jobs they apply to, what jobs they ignore - as well as the behavior of recruiters - then refine the recommendations for both sides of the marketplace. For jobseekers, we are Spotify for jobs.
Primarily generation z and millennials in emerging market cities in Southeast Asia. These are primarily first-time college graduates and are in the emerging middle class. The other side of the marketplace are the employers - big businesses, startups and SMEs - who need talent to scale their businesses and increase the impact they have in their communities.

The Team Behind the Innovation
Co-founders Paul Rivera and Dexter Ligot-Gordon have a synergistic combination of skills. Paul
is an entrepreneur, having founded Open Access, one of the early outsourcing companies in the Philippines which scaled to over 1,500 people and $15M in revenue. Dexter brings nearly a decade of experience in workforce development and strategic planning and is the guiding force behind the Kalibrr product. Paul and Dexter were classmates at UC Berkeley and together they continue to effectively innovate, operate and scale Kalibrr.
