E- Surgicals is the first medical devices and equipment manufacturing industry in Tanzania since Tanzania is the developing country. E-surgicals is under Goodlife Holding Company and is the world-class manufacturer of medical devices and equipment and we are driven by manufacturing engineers having ten years of experiences in medical field.

We came with this innovation after we realized that, Tanzania has one of the highest number of newborn death in the world. Approximately 39,000 die annually, while 17,000 of them in the first day of life. A trained pair of devices, equipment and access to quality healthcare can keep newborn alive.

UNICEF, reported Tanzania, Malawi, Sierra Leone, Southern Sudan and Uganda Hospitals, medical distribution companies, and health institutes are major importers of medical devices such as, surgical gloves, mackintosh sheets, disposable syringes, malaria and HIV test devices annually from India which cost time of delivery 1-2 months , cost money for importation, Product unfit , unaffordable challenges for small and medium hospitals, and scarcity equipment which covers urban Hospitals and Health institutes at maximum extent while leaving rural hospitals with the absence of equipment.

Over 600 million people under the age of 25 live in Africa, 72% of them unemployed or underemployed which means innovations are needed on the continent to create jobs.

Solution

E-Surgicalssimplifies the work-load of medical distribution companies, Hospitals and Medical centres, whereby instead of importing medical equipment from abroad which cost time, money, Product unfit, unaffordable challenges for small and medium hospitals, and scarcity equipment which covers urban Hospitals at maximum extent while leaving rural hospitals with the absence of equipment. E-Surgicals manufacture within Sub-Saharan Africa to overcome these challenges.
