Across the developing world, around 30% of crops harvested by smallholder farmers never make it to markets. That's a loss of food, and lost income of some $150 billion for farmers -- every year. The weak link is logistics -- getting these crops to market when they are freshest and of highest value, finding transport and getting farmers and transporters paid.

Agromovil has developed a MATCH, BATCH and PAY functionality that enables farmers and coops to call for pickup when their goods are ready and helps transporters to batch pickup from multiple farms, making each trip to the countryside more efficient and profitable. Working with the banks farmers already use, Agromovil enables producers and transporters to arrange payments on the platform -- making payments faster and more secure
