U.S. Embassy Port Moresby is pleased to announce a funding opportunity under the Public Affairs small grant program. This funding opportunity seeks to fund projects that addresses the following Public Affairs initiatives and/or Embassy Port Moresby mission priority goals listed below:

Public Affairs Initiatives:

  • 1.Foster media contacts and professional development
  • 2.ExpandSTEAM through cultural and educational opportunities
  • 3.Promote sustainable economic development and women’s economic participation
  • 4.Develop partnerships and tools to encourage healthy and resilient populations

Eligible Organizations: Papua New Guinean, Solomon Islands and Ni-Vanuaturegistered not-for-profit, non-governmental, and civil society organizations registered in the countries listed above, with at least two years of programming experience. This experience must be documented in the organization’s proposal.

Other Requirements

Reporting RequirementsGrantees are required to submit quarterly program progress and financial reports throughout the project period. Progress and financial reports are due 30 days after the reporting period. Final programmatic and financial reports are due 90 days after the close of the project period. Progress reports must be submitted via e-mail to pdportmoresby@state.gov. REQUIRED
