The global objective of this call for proposals is "To enhance Civil Society Organisations’ contribution to human rights and human development in Zambia".
The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
1) "To protect children’s rights, including vulnerable youth and juvenile offenders" and;
2) "To promote empowerment of children and youth in Zambia through increased access to inclusive education".

In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
• be a legal person and
• be non-profit-making and
• be a Civil Society Organisation (CSO)12 or an international (inter-governmental) organisation as defined by Article 156 of the EU Financial Regulation and
• be established in any country14. This obligation does not apply to international organisations
and
• be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the coapplicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.

In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
• be a legal person and
• be non-profit-making and
• be a Civil Society Organisation (CSO)10 and
• be established11 in either; i) Zambia or; ii) a Member State of the European Union15 or; iii) a
Member State and contracting party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area
• be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the coapplicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.

To apply to this call for proposals organisations must register in PADOR and submit their application in PROSPECT (see section 2.2.2 of the attached guidelines)
