How to Apply

About This Funding Opportunity

Eligibility Details

All innovations are welcome and will be reviewed carefully.  This year, we are placing a special emphasis in learning about those innovations where the Internet may have played a significant role in knowledge sharing and technology transfer.

Following the Call for Innovations, a group of eminent experts will select key examples of innovative solutions.  Subject to availability of funding, representatives of the selected innovations will be invited to participate in the STI Forum 2017, and exhibit their innovations at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 15 and 16 May 2017.

Innovations submitted to the Call will be publicly featured on the Global Innovation Exchange, an online platform that brings funders and innovators together to democratize and accelerate innovation. Innovators can find the right resources at the right time through a platform that brings together people, funding and data. As part of the Exchange community, you can connect with like-minded innovators from around the world focused on solutions for the SDGs and search for relevant funding opportunities (currently listing more than $192 million).

Application Guidance

WHAT ARE THE SDGS?

In September of 2015, the 193 countries of the United Nations adopted a new set of goals that are designed to achieve sustainable development for everyone globally by the year 2030.

“Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” contains 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are designed to shape the global efforts for development until 2030.

This year the focus will be on the following six SDGs:

Goal 1. End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Goal 2. End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Goal 3. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Goal 5. Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
Goal 9. Build resilient infrastructure, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation
Goal 14. Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development

The SDGs are designed to be transformative, and change the way in which we develop our world.  Innovation and technology are key to implementing the SDGs, and essential to the ambition of achieving the SDGs by 2030.

Greetings
I represent an patented Ecuadorian invention, called Laurentino System; is a fuel economizer that saves 35% of fuel consumption for all types of engine regardless of the fuel it uses, also reduce the emission of CO and CO2 by more than 60%, produce 18% and Increases engine power.

It is not an oil or fuel additive and does not interfere in the normal operation of the engine; it is a zero invasive device.

It is based on the implementation of quantum energy for its operation; it is completely eco friendly, zero harmful to the human being and the environment and does not generate any damage due to toxic or radioactive elements.

Our desire and goal is to make this innovative Ecuadorian invention known worldwide and we are looking for help either to test the device as well as the marketing and distribution of it in countries like United States, Europe or worldwide.

We believe that our invention can be helpful to improve our environment, reducing the contamination produced for every vehicle.

Please, we need your help, guide or support, this device really works, it is patented and we are open to any kind of test.

Thanks for your interest.
We hope this information is of interest to you and consider us for any help or development, we need help to make the necessary tests to certificated that this product reduce the pollution produced by engines.

For the attention given to the present, I would like to extend my most sincere thanks.
