Public Diplomacy Small Grants Program

PAS Bamako invites proposals for projects that strengthen ties between the United States and Mali by highlighting shared values and promoting bilateral cooperation. All programs must advance one of the key priorities listed below, promote an element of American culture, or have a connection with American expert/s, organization/s, or institution/s in a specific field that will promote increased ties between the United States and Mali and foster understanding of U.S. policies and perspectives.

For-profit or commercial entities are NOT eligible to apply. The Public Affairs Section encourages applications from U.S. and Malian applicants from:

Registered not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations with programming experience;

Individuals; and

Non-profit or public educational institutions.

Reporting Requirements

Recipients will be required to submit financial reports and program reports. The awarddocument will specify how often these reports must be submitted. The disbursement of fundsmay be tied to submission of these reports in a timely manner.
